RE109 Introduction to World Religions
Welcome
Greetings! In this course we begin with a consideration of what religion is and how it exists as a part of human culture, and we explore the various ways it has been studied. In the Units following our introduction, we encounter the major religions of human history, beginning with the religions of India, moving through the religions of China and Japan, and circling back to the religions which emerged in the Middle East to sweep across the world. We finish our exploration with a quick look at some of the more recent religious movements.
