Residential Student Reminders
Being a residential student offers so many opportunities to get involved with Park's community. You will be able to meet all kinds of students and get engaged with the community on your floor as well as within your building. To be a residential student, there are some reminders to keep in mind to ensure that housing is confirmed and that you aren't charged extra fees. Read the important reminders below to stay in the know!
Winter Break Check Out Process
The residence halls will close over the 4 week semester break period from early December to early January. A check list of action items will be shared in the weeks prior to winter break for all students.
Students needing continuous housing can opt-in for a Winter Break Housing contract at cost for this time frame.
Students without a Winter Break Housing Contract will need to schedule a check out with their RA to look over the room, but personal belongings can remain. The dining center is closed starting lunch at the end of finals week in December and reopens the Friday evening before classes start in January.
Returner Room Selection
The school year flies by! On campus housing fills up extremely quickly. Returning students receive first pick on rooms and housing. In order to confirm your housing for the following, you must fulfill the returner room selection process.
Residents wanting to continue living on campus for the following academic year have priority over selecting a space by taking part in Returner Room Selection. Students should watch their Park email account for more details for the process happening through https://park.erezlife.com/ Links to an external site.. Starting in February students can create Roommate Groups and search through RoomeeZ profiles for roommate or suitemate matches.
End of School Year Check Out Process
Residence Halls close for the summer. Students must move out by the end of finals week. Students taking classes for the summer are eligible for Summer School Housing in Chesnut Hall at cost and may complete a Summer School contract.
